Dr. Kagan grew up in Ft. Myers, Florida and attended Ft. Myers Senior High School, graduating as class valedictorian. He attended college at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia where he majored in physics. He went to medical school and did his orthopedic residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Dr. Atkinson grew up in Hollywood, Florida. He graduated from St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Fort Lauderdale. Attending Harvard University on an academic scholarship, he graduated cum laude. During his tenure he also played varsity baseball and was elected captain of Harvard's football team.
James was raised in Burkburnett, TX and attended Burkburnett High School He graduated summa cum lauded from Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, TX in 1999 with a bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. He attended school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Societies.
