Our Mission

Drs. Abbott (Bo) Kagan, Todd Atkinson and James Bynum are fellowship trained orthopedic surgeons who practice general orthopedic surgery with a concentration in their area of expertise. An orthopedic surgeon spends an average of 5 years studying orthopedics in an approved Residency program. Only a few orthopedic surgeons elect to take additional training in the form of a fellowship. A fellowship consists of close study working with an expert in a particular area of orthopedics. It usually involves research and publication.
